Will you be my Valentine?

Dressed in red I set out to meet you,
With your favourite fragrance lingering
Down myself. I take a few
Deep breaths in this loving spring

Before mounting the polished bike in my garage – – –
It’s the same Harley Davidson you love.
I ride the giant down the roads that merge
To reach the meadow in the hills above,

And the mountain wind brushes past my ears
Echoing the song that you always sing,
And, I can’t withhold my flowing tears,
As I sense in my pocket the diamond ring

That I had bought yesterday,
To claim you as my partner forever.
The roads narrow, I see you lying against the hay
Stacked on the meadow by the newborn river.

As you hear me coming, you sit up straight in shock!
I walk over to you, the ring slides down your finger fine.
As you embrace your angel, our lips lock,
And I whisper into your ears – – – “My Phoenix, will you be my Valentine?”
