And finally, the journey begins…

I don’t know how long I had been waiting to hear you say these magical words to me. In my heart of hearts, I knew that you enjoyed my company and thought about me a lot. However, being the kind of introvert you are, I had never imagined to live this magical moment so soon.

It was raining. As per our regular schedule, on this day too, we were engrossed in our conversation. You had confessed by that time that you like me, and, I too was compelled to acknowledge my liking for you after you had confessed so emotionally. However, I had definitely not expected what followed next.

Your words of love danced before my eyes. I couldn’t believe the fact that I was living this moment. I couldn’t believe that you had offered to not only hold my hand on a date, but, throughout my life, and, to not only caress me when I’m happy, but, to hold me against yourself  in your strong embrace when I’m sad. Keeping all the negativity in me out of your mind, you took up the courage to say the most beautiful words that you had intended to tell me all these days.

I had expected you to ask me out as your girlfriend, to spend some  more time with me and then decide upon dedicating your lifetime to me. However, you surprised me in the best way possible by painting our colourful future before my watery eyes with love and understanding. My joy knew no bounds.

On Sunday, 5 April 2015, at 01:03 a.m., you said the magical words to me – I LOVE YOU!

I was too shocked to reply! 

However, as soon as I recovered from my state of ecstasy, I gave you the answer that you had been nervously waiting to hear from me – YES!

So, finally, my ”Dear Mr. Valentine” has found me and has made me the world’s luckiest princess!

And, finally, this beautiful Journey of Love begins…
